Pineville Police Citizens Academy
The citizens’ police academy will begin on June 14th and will be held on Tuesday evenings for five weeks. Attendees will learn about the dispatch center, investigations, Community Outreach, patrol operations, K-9, and use of force. After attending the use of force class, attendees will travel down to the Waxhaw firearms simulator where they will participate in fun shooting (simulator firearms) activities and some use of force scenarios, which they believe will be enlightening for those in attendance. They are very excited about holding their FIRST Citizens’ Police Academy.
