Park Aide – Part Time

We have a great opportunity here at the Town for a Part-Time Park Aide in our Parks and Recreation Department . The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting and assisting visitors, patrolling park areas, upkeep of the park and recreation facilities, cleaning and monitoring facilities for cleanliness, inspecting equipment and communicating rules and regulations. The position requires both an evening and weekend work schedule.
Prospective candidates must be at least 16 years old with a valid NC or SC driver’s license and able to commit to the hours needed for the position. Individual must be able to multi-task and see assignments through to completion. Candidate must also be customer service and detailed oriented.
Job Type: Part-time
Required education: High school or equivalent
Preferred experience: Maintenance, cleaning or landscaping: 1 year
